Hey Everyone

Hey Everyone,

I am just finishing up another day. The day started with Golf, one of the worst courses I every played. We had fun though, I rented an awful set of clubs. They did not have carts but caddies. For you golf guys I shot six over par, not so good, but not so bad.

I spoke after lunch at the conference and was received so warmly by the African people. They danced and shouted. The response was incredible, hundreds came to altar praying, worshiping and crying. After I got done the director asked me if I could speak again, he said he was very shocked that the white preacher connected so well with the Africans. I was asked today to speak in one of the pastors church's on Sunday. Some of you will remember Tom Ward, (seven steps to joy) he and I are tag teaming at the service. It amazed me how they listened. I was the final speaker and there were two before me, the Africans sat through, well not really, four hours of preaching. I wish you would let me speak that long, just kidding, your the best. I have the greatest pulpits in the world. Well I am off to bed, talk to you tomorrow.

I Love You

Pastor Jim

II Cor 4:1

Sounds like God is using you in a mighty way. Make sure to get your rest and don't drink the water.

Hello pastor Jim,
It's been a long while since we've talked. Although I do think of you often when life throws challenges my way, and that has been plenty. You taught me well as a teen and I still remember some of the conversations we had and the advice you gave. It is amazing when you may need God the most and how he works. This is my third tour in Iraq driving convoy missions. Very dangerous work, but, as it has been said many times, God is my co-pilot. We have a prayer before every mission, and I thank God daily that I have the right to do that. Can't say I've been to Africa yet, but my military career is not over yet. If I visit my mom, Kay Haynes when I get home this summer, I'd like to see you. Take care and God bless. Jody Mohler, MSgt USAF
